Who We Are
Wood Ceylon is a small family-run workshop based in Embilipitiya, Sri Lanka. We started this business with a simple idea: create wooden pieces that feel truly premium in everyday life—smooth to the touch, strong in use, and made to last for years.
Our craft comes from our family. Our father is an experienced craftsman, and his standards shaped the way we work today: patience, precision, and respect for the material. That same mindset continues in every order we make.
In our workshop, my brother builds each piece by hand—from shaping and sanding to finishing the final surface. I handle the online side of the business: answering customer questions, checking order details, preparing packaging, and making sure each item is protected properly for shipping. This division keeps our quality consistent: one person fully focused on craftsmanship, and one person fully focused on customer experience and delivery.
We work mainly with solid teak wood because it’s one of the best choices for long-lasting wooden products. We love teak for its strength and stability, but also for its natural beauty—the grain patterns, the warm color, and the way it ages over time. No two pieces look exactly the same, and that’s part of what makes real wood special.
Most of our items are made-to-order, so we can give proper attention to each piece and meet custom requests when needed. Typical production time is 3–7 days, and during busy periods it can take longer—when that happens, we always keep you updated.
Whether you’re ordering a single handle or a larger custom project, our goal is the same: deliver something you’ll be proud to use and happy to keep—crafted with care in Sri Lanka and shipped worldwide via DHL / UPS.
